Glorify Courses Trailers Project
Background: Glorify is a Christian meditation content app that provides daily devotionals and Christian courses to its users. The app has a dedicated user base but was seeking a way to enhance user engagement, drive app downloads, and effectively communicate the premium quality of its Christian courses to a broader audience.
Challenge: The main challenge was to engage with users more effectively and to create awareness of Glorify's Christian courses. The specific issues included the need to reach a wider audience, as not all potential users were familiar with the app. Additionally, the company aimed to increase app downloads and user engagement.
Solution: To address these challenges, Glorify initiated the "Courses marketing trailers - Motion Graphic Project." The project focused on the creation of four compelling motion graphic videos, designed for popular social media platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram Reels. These videos were tailored to resonate with the interests and values of the target audience, showcasing Glorify's Christian courses.

Our approach began with research, drawing inspiration from the concept of "cut-out" style animation. We incorporated cut-out photographs of various elements, blending the old with the modern. Our imagery included elements such as the Bible, hands, doves, the ancient streets of Jerusalem, the splendor of nature, and the iconic figure of Jesus Himself (without showing a specific face). We added contemporary elements like a car, a globe, and a balloon, symbolizing the timelessness of the story and its relevance in today's world.
The animation takes viewers on a journey, ensuring each frame aligns with the story's message and voiceover, leading to a compelling conclusion.
Drawing inspiration from the course thumbnail, we chose an earthly and softer color palette. These colors not only resonated with the essence of the story but also maintained visual consistency with the overall brand.

Recognizing that financial matters can be intimidating, we approached this trailer to create a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Transparent bubbles, evoking a sense of serenity and ethereality, were employed whenever the voice-over emphasized the concept of managing money according to a higher purpose. These elements are in contrast to the different balancing shapes that seem unstable and fearful.
Subtitles were thoughtfully integrated into the design, enhancing accessibility while infusing a playful quality to the narrative.
To make the design elements stand out even more, we added a Glow Effect in After Effects to infuse the visuals with a subtle glow, adding depth and allure to the overall composition.

By effectively leveraging motion graphic videos tailored to the interests and values of the target audience, Glorify has engaged users, increased brand awareness, and driven conversions.
